Revisiting Stanley Milgram’s Obedience Experiments
Authority can overwrite personal ethics faster than teams like to admit. I saved this as a caution for growth loops that work because people comply, not because they consent.
Why I saved this
Product experiments need kill-switches the same way labs do. I come back to Milgram when a metric is moving because the interface made refusal expensive. Consent is a design problem, not a legal footer.
The original article stays with the publisher. This is only the lens I use at work.
